Diagnosis-specific foundations
CDC Tuberculosis State Health Programs
Free TB testing, diagnosis, and treatment through state public health departments nationwide.
Under federal law every U.S. state and territory operates a Tuberculosis Control Program funded through the CDC and state public health departments. These programs provide free TB skin testing (TST) and blood testing (IGRA), free chest X-rays, free directly observed therapy (DOT) for active TB, and free treatment for latent TB infection (LTBI) — regardless of insurance or immigration status. Use the CDC State TB Control Offices directory to find your state's contact.
