Florida AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP)
Free HIV medications for eligible Floridians.
Provides FDA-approved HIV medications at no cost to uninsured and underinsured people living with HIV in Florida.
Who qualifies
A quick look at who this program is designed to help.
Must be a Florida resident. Must have a documented HIV diagnosis. Household income must be at or below 400% of the Federal Poverty Level. Must be uninsured, underinsured, or have insurance that does not adequately cover HIV medications. Must not be eligible for Medicaid that covers HIV medications.

What you'll need
Have these ready before you start the application.
- Government-issued photo ID, proof of Florida residency, proof of HIV diagnosis (lab results or physician letter), proof of income (pay stubs, tax return, or benefit letters), Social Security card, and current insurance information if applicable.
How it works
Contact your local county health department or Ryan White Program office to apply. A case manager will help you complete the application and gather required documents. You will need to provide proof of HIV status, income, and residency. Recertification is required every 6 months.
