Sliding-scale clinics
Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs)
Community health centers that charge on a sliding scale based on your income.
Primary care, dental, mental health, and prescriptions: charges are based on what you can afford. Dozens of locations across Miami-Dade.
Who qualifies
A quick look at who this program is designed to help.
Open to everyone regardless of insurance status or ability to pay. FQHCs are required to see all patients. Fees are charged on a sliding scale based on household income: patients at or below 100% FPL pay minimal or no fees. No one is turned away for inability to pay.
