The OAC is a national patient-advocacy nonprofit for people affected by obesity. Provides free education, the OAC Community online peer network, advocacy for insurance coverage of obesity treatment (medication, nutrition counseling, bariatric surgery), and referrals to comprehensive-care centers. Also addresses metabolic syndrome, type-2 diabetes comorbidity, and PCOS weight-management support.
