Must be an active-duty service member, National Guard/Reserve member, military retiree, or family member/survivor of any of the above. Must be registered in the Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System (DEERS). Specific plan options depend on your status and location.

- Military ID (CAC card), DEERS registration, and Social Security numbers for all family members being enrolled.
How it works
Eligibility is based on your military status in DEERS. Your sponsor (service member) must register you. Once in DEERS, you can select a TRICARE plan. Visit tricare.mil or call 1-800-874-2273 for help selecting a plan.
